CODING INSTRUCTIONS FOR 
1998 and LATER CARS

1) Press and hold the two outside buttons on the headliner until the small icon light does something different (sometimes this takes 20 to 30 seconds). Release the buttons.

2) Hold the existing transmitter within 2 inches of the headliner and press and hold the transmitter button, while you are doing this press and hold the appropriate button on the headliner. Hold both of these buttons until the small icon light does something different.

3) (FOR ROLLING CODE REMOTES ONLY)  Press and release the Learn Code button on the back of your door opener, it can be found within about an inch of where the antenna wire disappears into the motor head.

4) Go back to the car and press the appropriate button on the headliner slowly 4 times.
